US Open Schedule for 2025

US Open schedule

The US Open starts this week at Flushing Meadows. The final Grand Slam of the year, it’s a raucous and unpredictable event that draws passionate crowds from around the world. A variety of new changes to the tournament, including a 15-day schedule and expanded video review, will make 2025 a different kind of US Open.

The first week of the US Open features plenty of early-round matches on Arthur Ashe Stadium and outer courts, so there’s an opportunity to bounce from match to match in search of a surprise or two. For those who want to enhance their experience, a grounds pass will get you access to the Louis Armstrong Stadium and other main court areas as well.

This year, all 17 competition courts have video review capability for disputed plays, adding a dimension of uncertainty and excitement to some of the game’s most compelling matches. A new format for mixed doubles—moved to the first week of Fan Week and featuring a $1 million winner’s prize—has made it even more difficult for top seeds and favorites to avoid upsets.

This year’s US Open promises to be one of the most exciting in recent memory, with rising American talents like Taylor Fritz, Learner Tiafoe, and Alex Michelsen joining a deep pool of talent. And with the women’s final set to light up Arthur Ashe Stadium on Sept. 6, it’s a chance for Amanda Anisimova to complete her redemption arc and become the first American woman to win a major since 2012. Aryna Sabalenka will look to justify her No. 1 ranking against Jannik Sinner, who won his third consecutive major in Paris earlier this year.
