NFL Draft 2025

With the dust settled on a busy NFL free-agency period, teams turn their attention to shoring up their rosters via the draft. And as 2025 begins, the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants hold the top two picks, with both widely expected to select quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen.

The rest of the top 10 is a bit more wide open, but it’s expected that Colorado’s Travis Hunter will be picked early, as he has the potential to become a full-time two-way star with his prowess at both receiver and cornerback. He’s one of several talented players who could quickly establish themselves as fantasy superstars at their positions if they land in the right spot.

At running back, look for Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty to be drafted in the early rounds, as he is seen as a future generational talent who has the speed to evade blocks and the strength to overpower offensive linemen. Similarly, Michigan’s Mason Graham should be a first-round selection as he has a well-rounded game with the ability to play both interior defensive tackle and outside linebacker.

The NFL draft takes place in Green Bay, Wisconsin and begins Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. All 32 of the NFL’s teams will be in attendance, and you can watch the entire event live on the NFL Network and ESPN. USA TODAY Sports’ Ayrton Ostly will be reporting from the scene throughout the three-day event.
