Formula 1 standings

Find out where the teams and drivers are in each of the Formula 1 standings – with detailed table information, including points earned, race results and more. The team and driver with the most points at the end of the season win the championship title in both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships.

Each team earns a certain number of points for each race that they finish in the top 10. This includes all races, including sprint races (those with fewer than three laps) and double-points races. Depending on the situation, a driver might also earn extra points for winning a race, or for finishing ahead of their teammate in the same event, as well as points for the fastest lap, and so on.

At the end of each season, the drivers and team with the most points are declared champions, with those securing the most wins also awarded bonus points. In the case of a tie, those with the most pole positions are ranked higher. The number of points scored in each season is also taken into account when it comes to extending a driver’s FIA super license. Max Verstappen, for example, had to pay a large amount of money in 2023 when it came to renewing his super license – a huge chunk of the total 860 World Championship points that he had scored.
